Don Blankenship was welcomed to the New Hope Baptist team as Lead Pastor in 2018, bringing with him 30 years of experience in Discipleship and Pastoral roles. He has shared 19 years of marriage with his wife, Lacey, and together they have two children, Austin and Avery. The Blankenship family has been an active part of this community for 13 years. Don felt the call to ministry at 15 and, after graduating from Oklahoma Baptist University, he served as a music minister, then as a youth minister for several years, before being called to the role of Lead Pastor. Outside of his church duties, Don is an avid hunter and camper. His favorite scripture is Colossians 3:23, which reads: "And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men." He wishes for this verse to touch hearts and to remind others to seek the Lord's approval above all. Don emphasizes that, as stated in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me," underscoring the importance of this belief.

Glenda Voigt became part of the New Hope Baptist staff as a Secretary in 2018, but she has been a member of the congregation for many years. She and her husband Larry have celebrated 46 years of marriage, have three children, and eight grandchildren. Since 1984, they have been residents and workers in this community. Glenda's previous roles include positions at Waterloo Tool Factory and Georgia Pacific before she joined New Hope. Outside of her church duties, Glenda enjoys traveling, riding motorcycles with Larry, and engaging in photography. Her favorite scripture is Isaiah 53, which she believes vividly portrays the suffering of Christ for humanity's sins. A Christian since 1977, Glenda affirms that her faith has sustained her through all of life's seasons, and she would dedicate her life to Christ again without hesitation.
